Michigan is home to major surveys in the demography of aging, including the Health and Retirement Study and the Panel Study of Income Dynamics. These and other data collection activities are based at the Institute for Social Research (ISR). ISR has a strong program in survey methodology and is home to the National Archive of Computerized Data on Aging.
