The Principal Investigator of the subcontract to the University of Michigan, Dr. Carlos Mendes de Leon, will be the lead expert on disability and the disability outcomes included in the study data. Dr. Mendes de Leon will work closely with Drs. Weuve (PI) and Rajan (co-investigator; biostatistician) to ensure that the disability data are appropriately analyzed and statistical results appropriately interpreted. He will also assist in the preparation of manuscripts.
