Dr. Iwashyna will participate in the planning and design of the Add Health Parent Study Phase 1. This will include travel in the Summer of 2013 to a multi-day planning conference; active contributions to the conceptualization of the health domains of the Add Health Parent Study; examining potentials for linkage of the Add Health Parent Study to other administrative sources, including Medicare data, local state health insurance information, and credit bureau information. He will contribute his expertise in both longitudinal modeling and in administrative records. He will also act to facilitate coordination with the Health and Retirement Study (HRS). He will communicate at least monthly with the PIs or their designate, and more frequently as needed via email and conference call.
