Dr. Kenneth Langa will collaborate with Jinkook Lee, PhD and other USC researchers on a project designed to use new data from the Longitudinal Aging Study in India (LASI) to identify the relationship of education, cardiovascular risk factors, and air pollution on the risk for cognitive decline and dementia in India. Dr. Langa and Dr. Lee have collaborated successfully in the past on a number of relevant projects to measure cognitive function in LASI.

In collaboration with Professor Lee, Dr. Langa will help in conceptualizing research questions, designing data analysis plans, interpreting results, troubleshooting problems, and writing research manuscripts. In addition, Dr. Langa, as the UM site PI, will be responsible for supervising Mohammed Kabeto, the Research Associate for the project, and working with UM collaborators Drs. Levine and Adar.
